In English this year our reading will focus on literature from Non-Western Cultures. Our texts include:
Things Fall Apart
Nectar in a Sieve
Romeo and Juliet
The Sound of Waves
Additionally, you will self-select an outside reading book for each of the four quarters.
Writing in 9th Grade focuses on the Expository Paragraph
